Pictured entry...hot and cold..
And one time my petsis was commenting about having photos in my blog so that it doesn't look so long, boring, dull. I do agree but fact is when I first write this, I have no intention that it be written for anyone to read. Or at least not anyone public, only one or two, the main intention was that once I read that writting diaries and blogs actually help people reduce pressure and stress.
So this is where I'll start having pictoral....and perhaps I shall make it a little more interesting believing people would actually come to read.
Now the flower can be tricked into blooming early...this is a scary thing to do. It has now become human? Plants and animals were one of the most innocent being, or at least in my opinion. And today, they finally are changing because of the world. And when the world all go upside down, I seriously wonder what will happen to man.
Unrelated to whatever happened, I was thinking about the word and the act of revenge the other day. You know, revenge is a selfish act. You do not bring back things to the original position of life when you engage revenge. Lets say your brother dies because some asshole kills him or something. What do you do? Kill him back. It doesn't bring your brother back, it doesn't make him happier either. The only person who feels satisfied or at least more satisfied would be you, and you yourself or whoever who felt the pain of that death. Revenge is only an act to make you feel better, not make things better. So here comes the catch, what happens to punishment?
When I search for revenge, the first picture that comes up was picture of the comic of cows and man.
Apparently its good cause it gives a little comic relief to my entry it seems.
Now, punishement is also doing some hurt to the person who first hurt. But what is that which differentiates punishment and revenge? Everyone has their own opinion on it, you can give me yours....while I'll give mine, probably in the next entry.........

At the news today...I was reading about the end of the world. No. I am just kidding, but not entirely not true either. It is reported that unseasonable warm weather has encouraged the "Titan Arum" to bloom early. Or to be more accurate on what the article said, "Unseasonably warm weather may have tricked the world's smelliest plant into blooming in the middle of the northern hemisphere winter" .It is also known as the corpse flower.....why? Probably the smell is why

Interesting question you posed, the difference between punishment and revenge. Maybe I'd give it a shot here.
Punishment: An act done to make the wrongdoer/society aware of a wrongdoing and strive for improvement. Punishments range from making a child write "I will not hit Steven" 100 times to fine and imprisonment, and in some cases, death sentence. It is a disciplinary action, done within the limits of law.
Revenge: When one seeks revenge the avenger is usually strongly emotionally involved as well. There is no intention to improve the wrongdoer, as revenge does not/rarely recognise the limits of law and ethics. The saying "Revenge is sweet" would suggest that the avenger derives a sadistic satisfaction from the act.
In conclusion, I would say that sadism and motive draw the line separating revenge and punishment.
